# Real\-time

## Overview

Every message and status change appears live\, no refresh\.

## Details

## What happens now shows up now

WhatsLay runs on live updates, so your team never has to refresh the page to see what is new.

## What updates live

* **New messages** as they arrive, with an alert and the chat list re-ordered automatically.
* **Message status**: delivered, read, or failed.
* **Edits and reactions** on messages.
* **Transfers and assignments** between agents.
* **Connection status** of numbers and devices.
* **Campaign progress** and chat history sync.

## Why it matters

When every agent sees the same conversation at the same moment, two people never answer the same customer, and no message gets lost between refreshes.
